Life
Insurance Corporation of India has invited online Applications from
eligible candidates for selection and appointment as Apprentice
Development Officers in its various Offices of North Zone.
Approximately 817 posts of Apprentice Development Officers have been
proposed to be filled in by the Office under the jurisdiction of Zonal Office, New
Delhi. The selection and appointment will be subject to the reservation of
SC/ST/OBC as per rules.
The
total number of vacancies including the vacancies for the reserved category may
increase or decrease, depending upon the actual vacancies at the time of final
selection and availability of successful candidates after the interview.
Qualification:
Graduate in any stream or a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai.
Selection
will be based on the basis of on-line test and interview.
Job
Profile: It is primarily a marketing job involving movement in the
allotted area.
Responsibilities:
1) recruiting suitable persons to be appointed as Life Insurance Agents,
training them and helping them to sell Life Insurance policies to maximum
number of insurable persons 2) interacting with customers and
providing after sales service 3) performing any other liaison work leading to
development of Life Insurance business and 4) touring extensively if
required in the allotted area.
Emoluments
and Benefits: During Apprentice period - Stipend of approximately Rs. 19,165/-
per month. On appointment as a Probationary Development Officer, basic pay of
Rs. 11,535/- per month (except for Employee category candidates) in the scale
of Rs. 11535 - 700(2) - 12935 - 825(2) - 14585 - 840 (17) - 28865 and other
admissible allowances as per rules. Total emoluments will be approximately Rs.
22,065/- per month.
